after driving about an hour my engine starts to make a slight squeeling noise that sounds like fan belts. I dont think its the fan belts becuase they are all brand new and tightend up. you can only hear the noise at idle. Is this a problum or just normal engine noises>??? thanks for your comments :dsm:

not sure what it could be but next time it does it pop the hood open and listen to see where it is coming from mine does a squeeling noise every once in a while and i just spray wd-40 on the pulleys and it clears right up, dont spray it on the belt tho, not sure if im much help but thats what ive done to stop it, most likely u might need to change belts.

Try a can of belt dressing. When the noise starts, pop the hood and spary it on each belt. Find out which one is squeeking and take a good look at the pulley alignment. If the belt squeeks again either the belt is wrong or the pulleys are mis aligned. Good luck!
