i have a 1998 eclipse rs. i got an intake and headers and an obx intake manifold. i know....its still slow LOL..im buying parts to turbo my car. im planning on running not much boost. i just wanna hear the bov noise:D so anyways i got ebay turbo, manifold, ect. basically the works. i have heard of the missing link??? but idk if thats good?? and something called an 02 wideband or something?? i dont wanna get into tuning it much. im just running 6-7 psi of boost. besides that missing link. im going with the walboro fuel pump, and blox fmu. should that be enough to run the turbo fine?? like i said before im doing this myself. i got the tools but no tuning experience what so ever. i just want to bolt it on. thanks guys u guys are alot of help:thumb:

You will need missing link or a fcd. And if you run the right setup you should be able to run 6-7psi without any real tuning, although it is more risky. The blox is a 12:1 ratio i believe which will work for you, just set the fuel pressure and your good.

Not only do you not need to adjust the fuel pressure, you can't. (With a FMU) A FMU is a rising rate regulator only, all it does is increase the fuel pressure according to boost. It cannot set, or control your static/idle fuel pressure at all. That's why you need to use in it conjunction with the stock FPR.

Absolutely correct. Just to reiterate, install a 12:1 FMU, Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump and either a fuel cut defender (FCD) or missing link (ML)... then forget about your fuel system and move onto installing something else. There won't be anything to adjust or tune.

I'm closing this thread because this topic has been discussed countless times before.
