Do i need a camber kit?

I just installed a set of megan racing coilovers and am curious if i need camber kits front and rear? How can i tell? And, why doesnt a simple 4-wheel alignment take care of this?

Kit suggestions would also be great! Thanks again guys!
 
When you lower your car or change/modify any part of your suspension you need to get a wheel alignment. Any change to the suspension will change your toe settings. Lowering your car will also affect the camber as well, the lower you make the car the more negative camber you will have. The rear is one with the most radical camber change.

Anyway to answer your question you need to get the wheel alignment to see what your suspension is doing. You will need camber kits if you have too much negative camber. Just getting an alignment won't solve this because the eclipse doesn't have camber adjustment stock you can only adjust the toe.
 
Usually when are cars are lowered more than an inch it will require some sort of camber kit. But anything under and inch there usually enough play in the stock stuff.
 
I would suggest getting an alignment, then looking at your current camber and determining from there. I have the Tein Flex coilovers on my car and I don't need a kit (even though there's one on there - not sure if it's adjusted or anything as I haven't touched it). My front is at about -0.4* and the rear is about -1*. I would actually like more negative camber in the front (about -1.5*).

Our cars (2g's) aren't lucky enough to come with camber plates on top of the coilovers (as 1g's do). And since we have no way of adjusting camber when getting an alignment (the only thing that can be adjusted is toe - camber and caster need aftermarket parts to adjust), you might have to get a kit.

Do a search for camber kit and read some of the threads. The Ingalls kit is a popular one.
 
Just remember toe wears tires on the inside not camber, so i would be more worried about toe.
