i have an autometer A/F gauge that came with the car when i bought it. all it has is the 3 wires that come out of the back. on the VFAQs site, it says to locate the O2 sensor connector, but i dont have anything that looks like the connector he has which is off a 91 gs-t. i have a 90 plymouth laser turbo RS that has been completely gutted out, so getting to the wires wont be a probem. is it possible to splice into the solid blue wire that runs directly from the O2 sensor to the ECU? if not, does anyone have this setup who can help me? the gauge number is 5775 so people know what i have. thanks in advance to anyone who helps me.

the thing is is that my interior is completely gutted. if you can describe what it looks like or even have a picture of it, that would mean the world to me LOL.

theres a lot of one wires that are taped to other wires. do you know what color it is?

Just so you're clear, hooking it up to the factory narrowband O2 sensors won't tell you much. It will make the gauge functional, but not really useful at all.

well, the one i have says it will work with most factory narrowband sensors. i may just get the one autometer has in the future

The problem is, the narrowband o2 is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. The stock o2 sensor is far from accurate, you are honestly better off pulling out the autometer AF gauge and throwing it away, might sound mean but its true. You cant tune by it, you cant get an accurate reading from it, in fact, you would be far luckier praying to whatever mythological being it is you believe in and asking him/her/it for your AF Ratio.

That's a bit drastic don't you think? What he really needs is a proper wideband setup, that's all.

Honestly, he isn't too far off. The gauges are fantastic fillers for round 52mm holes...
