Howdy, can someone provide some insight regarding how deep the sensor end needs to be in the exhaust pipe? The bung that was welded for me was a little tall so the end of the sensor stops right before the circumference of the exhaust.
The A/F readings from my wideband are different from what DSMLink is registering (which I know isn't always accurate) - so I want to be sure I'm getting the most accurate measurement possible. Will this give me a reliable reading?

With the o2 placed like in the pic, it may still read the A/F but it may not be totally accurate, and it may not read the A/F "fast" enough. The exhaust gases need to pass over the sensor tip, not by it. I would have the tip of the sensor protrude into the exhaust stream at least a 1/4". I would change it.
