ok guys i need some help. I was driving my car an i gunned it, when i made a U turn an pulled into a gas station my car was shaking, sounded like the motor was knocking or something but not quite. I was checking my spark plugs an noticed number 3 was dead. I was running on 3 cylynders. So i tried to make it home an my car started dying on me my RPMs stared shootin up an down from 2-4 an like that then it back fired an turned off. Now my car doesnt even wanna start. I noticed I have no spark coming out of the spark plug wires. I was wondering if u guys think I blew something or if I messed up a rod or something like that. Or do you think the car was shaking an not turning on because im on 3 cylinders an have no spark. What should I buy or do. I mean i doubt i messed up a rod or piston given that i was only at 4 pounds when i gunned it.

Well, if you are not getting sprark, the first things to look at are plugs and wires.

It doesn't sound like you blew your motor. Did you check all of your fuses under the hood? If I was you that would be the first spot I would check. If they all check out move on to the plug wires, ignitor and coil pack. Is your car modified at all?
