Background
Bought this car when I started school in 2005 as a fun hobby while in school. Spun the Rod bearing 2 years later and decided to join the navy to build my car. I left for the Navy and the car sat for 7 years in my in-laws backyard basketball court. While stationed over seas in Japan, I banked car parts and slowly built my pile of parts. When I finally got off of the active duty side of the Navy I came home and started to look for a house with my wife; the only criteria I had was there must be a garage. The car has sat at the in-laws for two years after I got home and all I could do was look at it. In march of 2015 My father passed away and now I am doing a resto-mod to honor his white knuckles from the first time I took him for a ride. the goal is to have a fun street car that can tear up the road course and drag stip. Like the way the Navy me a well rounded man I would like to make my car a well rounded car. one that could make a 200 mile trip race at a show and drive home.
