Have a buddy running a w4a33 auto.
He’s been through three pumps in just under 6 months.

Car went 300 miles and then lost the pump. Replaced the pump and then made it 20+ miles. Then that pump broke.

By the third time, he asked for my help as I’ve rebuilt a handful of autos and said I wasn’t the best at it but I’ll take a look and help him figure it out.

So we replaced the pump for a third time, did a quick inspection of some of the internals. It all checked out and...

Basic question. I just got a new OEM clutch slave cylinder that I hope to install in my '92 Talon TSi AWD today. The old one was leaking air and thus no good. To make it easier to bleed I bought a pair of Russell speed bleeders, which I'd previously installed on all 4 brake calipers and which have worked out well.

Thing is, they come with a coating of some graying substance that I'm not sure whether it's there to help seal the threads against leaks, make it easier to install, serve as...

So, I have this snag in my swap process. I am pretty sure that my transmission is stuck in limp mode. It was never separated from the motor and worked fine prior to the swap. Seems likely that it will be a wiring issue but we all know mysterious shit just plagues DSM life.

I am curious who knows more about what the TCU needs to see in order to operate properly. Currently there is a green wire for I believe b62 #38, but that seems to be for cruise control, or maybe A/C, not sure at...

I’ve noticed that there seem to be a lot of 2G DSMers who want to buy a big SMIC, like the old Hahn or Dejon models, but there aren’t any around anymore.

This thread is to see just how many people are willing to pay for one. I’ve talked with some fabricators, but most are either too busy with higher value work, or don’t want to take the time to prototype for just one or two units.

That said, if we can show that there are 10-20 people who are willing to pay a fair price, maybe we can get...
