WTF?!?! Intake...No gains!!

I just installed the turbos intake pipe and i read that the turbo will spool quicker and louder and the bov will sound louder....None of these applied to me ...It was the one off of machv..I have a k/n installed and free mods.....Whats goin on?

Dude, it's a metal pipe. It's not going to make your car have the power of a Saturn 5 rocket.

The more mods that youhave the more noticable the increase, if you have minor mods then you wont notice much. You should see your turbo spool a couple hundred RMP quicker, nothing much. But like cait sith said you are not going to get huge power gains.

As said, each engine performance upgrade you will notice a difference in power and/or sound. When I had just my ABS intake and freemods, it was noticable, but not screaming. After turbo-back exhaust, much louder. After 16G, ported exh. manifold, FMIC, and 15psi, screaming. If you were in the Seattle area, I could give you a ride and let you hear what your intake could/will potentially sound like (hence your main concern is noise).
