1G Wont fire up!

OK, ive posted some problems with this before, but i figured id start over. I did a 2.3 swap a couple months ago and never was able to fire it up. It seems like the fuel pump isnt coming on in the start position. And when i turn the key to the on position, you dont hear the fuel pump prime. But when you take the cam sensor out and spin it yourself (in the on position) the fuel pump works as long as the cam sensor is being spun. I have a coil on plug kit, new power transistor, tried swaping cam/crank sensor, and still nothin. I know i have spark and compression, and i know the fuel pump works becuase i applied 12v to the check connector. I had to soidler the wires for the IAC, TPS and the closed throttle switch, because i had to extend them due to the fact that i have the forrester racing manifold. I went over all of them though and they were correct. I have no idea were to go from hear, its really jsut been frustrating. I dont know if it could be the ignition switch? or what. Im just looking for anyone who might be able to help me out, im really frustraited and i just want to figure this out. thanks

i had a similar problem it is really dumb but my problem was my coolant temp sensor was not pluged in. just a thought. hope i helped. i mean i know it has nothing to do with your fuel issue but thought i would try.

Yea i checked it and its ok, thanks anyway. Anyone else have any ideas?

Have you sat down a read the wiring diagram for your car? Recently I had a problem with my knock sensor and checked everything that shared a wire with the sensor, which ends up grounding to the block and going straight to the ecu. My problem was fixed when i replaced my sensor luckily. Sit down and check any relays, grounds, fuses, starter switch, ect. I would look in my book for you but it is currently packed along with the rest of my garage getting ready to move. If you find nothing, or when in doubt, swap the ecu out with someone that has a running dsm. Good luck Have you done a fuel pump rewire? I don't see one in your profile.
