I had to do the same thing.
Also, just ask them for a tranny, I was looking for one and got 3 offers for really really really cheap.
Turned out I didn't need a new tranny like I thought, but yeah.
My car doesn't have many mods at all, it's an NT for pete's sake.

So i live in north of lax and s.w. of eau claire kinda over bye hudson if anybody knows where that is should meet up around here before the snow flies. My buddy also would come for a small meet he just finished up a 92 talon tsi awd with a 60 trim dsm link etc. people may know him from the eau claire area he used to drive a green gst that said allrice on the liscense plates!!

Cant wait till spring. I have a stock 95 RS and im going to hopefully get alot done. Im getting a AEM cold air intake for xmas im pretty excited. Then with the extra xmas money and money from my birthday in january im going to purchase a cat-back, high flow cat, and im on the fence right now with headers just because i want to boost it since its soo slow...but yea i see alot of people are pretty close to me. waukeshaw, madison, delifield, all really close. In spring we should hold are own little meet that would be pretty sweet i think. well just posting this to say hey and whats up?

You really should look at just buying an ebay intake. It will save you a hell of alot of money and will flow just about the same, that will leave you with more money for other gifts. Thats all your paying for with the AEM is for the name, intakes are very simple in design. Theres no reason to spend over $200 on one.

Last year it was may 17th. No word on what its going to be this year, alittle to early to tell. But plan for it sometime in may.

As far as I know there isn't a set date for the meet yet. It will probably be sometime in May...there will be a big announcement and a thread about a zillion pages long on widsm.org when they iron out all the details.
