wouldve gone to HIN in chicago tonight but i had to work until 4:30... i would be on hwy 100 right now but my turbo oil return line cracked... so instead im spending money on new stuff and sitting at home

im running stock boost :-/ and i treat my car well. the rebuild went great. only problem i ever had was when my oil filter popped off back in febuary but it's possible knock started back then just in the #4 cylinder. car was turned off right away but maybe not in time enough.




anyways.. HIN was ####ing awesome. I didnt see one 1g there though. Got plenty of pictures of the girls, the 2g's and plenty of other sweet cars. I'll post some for a taste tommorow

you'd think that but basically the only thing that I havn't worked on myself has been my shortblock. I bought a rebuilt engine off of eBay for cheap that was rebuilt by Waukesha Engine Rebuilders and only had about 1700 miles on it. I could still see the fresh crosshatch hone so it was obviously rebuilt. Anyways, I randomly got knock last week and i pulled the oil pan to find a destroyed rod bearing :-(


the first time was my fault (blown HG) second time, not my fault (shop set timing wrong and wouldnt take the blame) third time i didnt see it comming (was burning oil and i didnt know on a long trip and i acquired rod knock) and this last time.. i dunno how i got it. oil level was fine and it holding pressure just fine.



I'm stumped!

HIN was amazing this year seemed like twice as many people than last year, plus the girls were amazing as always, if anyone went, did you see the girl wearing on the straps in the modified booth? My god I stood there waiting for them to fall out.....with no luck.
