Hey guys so yes I am new but needed to ask all you DSM pros.. I have been building my 420a for show and have decided to break the engine down to basics.. I want to eliminate anything that is not needed for the engine to run. I am not worried about CEL or anything on that list. Basically I want to eliminate the EGR, Emissions and any non essential wiring that is cluttering my engine bay. I already removed the AC and PS... I don't plan on ever registering this car again as a street legal car so I'm looking to see just what can be eliminated.. I did rebuild this engine myself and it runs...

Thanks..

Look into wire tucks, battery relocation kits and such. I have seen people tuck everything but the break resivor on a 2g eclipse. That should give you a good idea to start with.

You can also delete your whole EGR-system including the ugly solenoid at the front of the engine. That will delete a couple of wires, vacuum hoses and stuff.
