why does my car start without pushing in the clutch

Well I've had my car for more than a year now and I've always been able to start the car without pushing in the clutch(found out one day when I FORGOT to push it in). All my friends ask me how I do that and I'm just like uhh I donno? I think I read on here a long time ago that you cut some wire or something? Well can someone tell me how I do this..some of my friends want to do it to their car...I donno why?

There is a mod you can do to start the car without pushing in the clutch, it's in the VFAQ. Most people do the mod so they can use an aftermarket remote-starter.

There are 2 clips on the clutch pedal. Unplug the very top one.
