Why are silicone intercooler couplers so expensive

Fml, I need 3 more couplers for my intercooler setup to be finished. Seriously I bought a whole ic pipe setup with 8 couplers and 16 t-bolt clamps for $90 shipped, and it's gonna cost me almost $60 for 3 couplers and that dosent even include clamps.

It's because couplers are secretly made of rubberized titanium It's silicone for one, not to mention supply/demand aspect of it

I don't get why nobody ever learns, buy them in a 36" section and cut them to fit. It's the best way to go about doing it.
