I've been trying to get my 1990 GSX up to par over the past few weeks. I have replace the cheap ebay tubular exhaust manifold with a factory style. Its not anything fancy, but it seals unlike the tubular. The flanges on the O2 housing are alright, but I can not get the downpipe to seal to it, I was thinking of throughing a donut gasket in there like my Chevy truck used to run. Has anyone else done this? I see guys have used RTV and double gaskets also. This only has to last me for a few months. I plan on getting a new O2 housing, downpipe, and exhaust. I just need to be able to drive the car until then.
Thanks for any help in advance.
