Whos running Haltech

I am, Elite 2500, auto control, big PIA, you'll want help from a real experienced Haltech installer and tuner. Stay away from people who in theory can help you but haven't, you'll pay in many ways. I've wasted many many many thousands and many lost seasons of driving with this whole Haltech thing, most would've been smarter and stopped.

I got an S2 waiting to go in when ever that may be. PnP with dash, sensors etc etc sold a 1500 while they were popular to fund the S2

I am surprised to hear that. My experience with the PnP adapter and the provided 2G base map was pretty painless.

Mine was with the terminated harness. I had to do everything on my own and set it up. Converted it back to stock coils and transistor etc. It was a learning experience. There's some information here and there and honestly, I thought I would not get it done but I did. My Haltech also controls the auto and seems to work fine as well. Once I get it road legal I will start tuning it. ECMlink is fine as well. Used that for 20 years in my two previous cars.

Part of my issue was the OHM harness had issues, then the initial install was tough and the guys first time and really was doing me a favor and that needed a 2nd shop to finish the wiring. Then a 3rd shop had to finally figure out the issues left over. I get the car probably Wednesday after a disastrous 2 years, 1.5 alone starting with Haltech and dealing with all those issues.

If you're an auto and Haltech controls the trans, you better have a VSS back up reading into Haltech other than a 2g VSS sensor or BR3 on top of the stocker. I had to add 2 front Haltech wheel sensors after a 2g failed and BR3 failure (2g failed first, then BR3 100 miles later) to 0mph during a 2nd gear pull, real nice.
