My friends and I relized that the only time we work on our cars is at night. I was just wondering if any one else does that or we are just strange.

i try not to, but that is usually when i end up doing it. replaced rear speakers, new shift knob, shifter bushings, waxed my car (all different nights though)

i used to at work, we had a big overhead door, i'd just drive the car inside late at night and work on it :)

Mostly during the daylight. But if it goes long ya just have to stick with it.

I guess I usually end up working on mine at night, I'm always driving in the day, and then durring weeknights nothing is going on so I just work on it then so it's ready for the next day...

i love working at night. no one is outside (little kids are always outside in my neighborhood and love to wonder over and ask MILLIONS of questions and sit in my car and play with the radio). my dad has these massive hallogen (sp?) lights he uses at job sites at night. those thing kick ass.

I think pulling the Head/tranny is the first time I have ever worked on ANY car in daylight LOL. everything else has been at nighttime

work at nite also...gets tiring sometimes..latest i stayed awake was prob till 2 in the mournin on the car

What an odd question. Probably anyone with a garage works on theirs at night at one point or another.

I have you beat. Started working on my car at 8:30 and ended at 3:30

i have no garage unfortunately, but that doesnt stop me. back when i had my 91 gsx, i replaced a heater hose in the dark with only a flashlight. i've changed the oil numerous times outside in the dark with my trusty flashlight. i even like to just go out and look at my talon just to look at it. i'm totally amazed by the 91 tsi, its beautiful.

I usually end up doing it. I'll get home and start working on it and somehow get stuck with my flashlight in my mouth.
