white smoke in morning.. condensation?

Well I noticed white smoke when i turned my car on this morning to warm it up.. Is there a noticable difference between white smoke, and condensation? I don't want to be worried about something if it's nothing. Although i'm getting crappy milage, oil smells like gas.. that's why I'm concerned. Thanks, rivet0r.

I said that wrong, it's not only in the morning.. sometimes when the engine isn't warmed up and i start it up. It dissapears pretty quickly, but none the less it's still there. Any ideas?
