It won't be as ugly as the 1 year olds rendering...I promise. haha But I am torn if I should or shouldn't
I once colored in some Pirelli lettering in Yellow, they sort of looked like racing slicks from afar, especially if you black shine the tires beforehand. But my personal opinion is against coloring lettering on tires fitted to these types of cars. If it's an older muscle car, by god you are OBLIGED to keep the lettering nice and white. But for a DSM, leave 'em blank and clean. In any case, most markers don't last more than a few months so you can always try it.
No offense to anyone who has white lettering or likes it, but to me it's largely for posers. I've only seen this on straight-pipe exhaust Challenger guy or intake/exhaust 350z guy. If your car is fast enough that it needs slicks and those slicks have m/h or whatever, then cool. I just don't like the idea of trying to look like a race car.
I would do it, you don’t loose anything, however you can get it off you don’t like it or leave it to the time so they come off.
It’s not like painting a car that you have to stick with it or repainting, it’s just letters paint and will come off easy.
The pics that you posted of your car are pretty tasteful, but the full-blown F1 car look on the 2g is not for me. To each their own.No offense taken Vegas! It's only for pure aesthetics. Same reason we paint our calipers or anything for that matter. It's all person taste, some like it and some don't...to each their own. My look isn't to look like a race car but clean, quick street car. When I bought my jeep, it had white lettered tires. Don't think the po was going for a race car look on the jeep.
Just don't be this guy if you do.You must be logged in to view this image or video.

I got one, so I know what they look like from every angle. Same way with Eclipses . Plus I'm just good at identifying cars.Just a random red one I saw in a parking lot haha what gave it away, the center cap?
Make sense. I'm the same way with and Eclipse myself, spotting them in movies and everythingI got one, so I know what they look like from every angle. Same way with Eclipses . Plus I'm just good at identifying cars.
