Just wondering were people have been mounting there pumps . I would like to use my windshield washer reservoir in the rear of the car but am not shure if I should put the pump in the rear of the car with the reservoir or in the front of the car were it would be closer to the injector . I also thought of puting the pump up front but using the factory windshield washer pump as a transfer pump to feed the water injection pump . let me know your thought's

In the trunk next to washer tank would be the best place to put in, plus there is huge amount of the space for it. You dont have to worry about pressure drop, there is none. The 150psi pump (if you have it) is way strong... I can post some pictures for you...i was very satisfied with my instalation, plus i relocated the battery into the trunk which gave me more space under the hood and its easier for any kind of work later on. Just ask your self, if you do work on your car yourself and most of us do, how many times did you take your battery out and back in....ROFL . This really helps and make it easier + looks much better .

yeah some pics of your setup would be cool . I probably will go ahead and mount it in the trunk as space under the hood is definatly limited my pump is only a 100 psi pump but I'm shure it will still be good . as for the battery thats on my list ( long list ) of future mods

yep 100psi would be ok....how does your gt40 setup work....pros and cons

the turbo works really good for how big it is I bought it from agp about a year ago for my srt-4 , along with thier race intercooler for the srt-4 , and both items are curently on my dsm, agp calls it a gt-40 others call it a 56 trim , either way its a pretty big turbo full spool is some where between 4500 & 4800 rpm but it pulls hard once its there , I'm only running 18 psi right now but I look forward to putting some c-16 in it and cranking the boost to about 28-30 psi . the only real downside to the whole setup is of course the little bit of extra lag and I had to make all my IC pipes my self as well as cut a portion of the core support to fit the intercooler in

pics are too big , i cant post them...

edit: i got it

here are some pics

I mounted mine where the stock side mount intercooler was located.

1st pic shows the location which is by the passenger side bumper area.

2nd pic gives you a better idea where is mounted. Pretty much on top of your stock air filter. If you can see closely there is a black cap on the bottom of the filter, that's where I refill. Injects right to the pipe.

that also looks like a good place to mount the pump . my concern is having the pump to far away from either the reservoir or the injector creating a lag in the amount of time it takes from when the system activates to when it actually starts spraying at the injector . one solution seems to be to mount the pump and a reservoir some where close to the engine but if this lag time isn't going to be that big of a deal I would like to use to reservoir in the rear of the car , if for no other reason than its nice to know when the tank is empty by the light in the guage cluster coming on.

That is not big of the deal, if you think there will be any lag then set you boost switch 2psi lower value and you're should be set. The fluid goes very quick thru the tube, specialy if there is no air in it( that means after having your pump running for the first time).
