I've done allot of research this week and based on many threads I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to use Red Line products on my 1991 Talon TsiAWD with 93,200 miles. I plan on using the Heavy Weight ShockProof gear oil for the transfer case and rear differential. I plan to use 1 quart of MTL and 1.3 quarts of MT-90 in the transmission.
But....I went to Advance Auto and O'Reilly's today and neither had any Red Line products. My question is: does anyone know a place where to purchase Red Line products  I'd rather purchase locally and not buy over the internet because of the extra shipping costs.

P.S. I was going to use Synchromesh for the transmission until I read this:
Recommended Transmission Oils- Team Rip Engineering

Road race engineering is going to be your best bet in my opinion. That's where I buy all my redline fluids. Placed probably 7-8 orders of almost exactly what you want through them.

I get mine locally from a performance shop that keeps some in stock, you might check local speed shops as I don't think your standard auto parts stores will have it. If you decide to order online check out MAPerformance, Redline - Modern Automotive Performance, they stock a full selection of Redline products including package deals.

The fact of the matter is, without purchasing it locally it's going to be shipped by ground carrier due to the fact that it's considered HAZMAT by DOT. Redline doesn't have any dealers listed within 50 miles of Ceder Rapids. That's not to say that there aren't places to buy it, because we can get it locally here in El Paso and we don't have any dealers listed either. That being said, if it comes down to it find the closest online dealer that can get it out the door quickest that's closest to you and that's how it would reach you quickest.

I see you're in Cedar Rapids. Here's a list of a few places that are closer than Road Race Engineering (California):
maperformance.com Plymouth, MN
extremepsi.com Bensalem PA
jnztuning.net Hatfield, PA
strictlyimportmotorsports.com Kalamazoo, MI

All those vendors have MT-90 and MTL for $13.50-$14 per qt.

Or, here's some MT-90 off ebay for $12.95/qt plus $7.80 shipping from Michigan to Des Moines: Ebay Link

I would start calling all the local machine shops in your area to see if they carry it, that's what I did and I found some locally, you won't find it at chain shops like orielys, autozone, napa, car quest, exe

Thanks for all the input :thumb: I just finished ordering from Extreme PSI as they had all the Red Line products I wanted and was the cheapest I found (by a whopping 49 cents, LOL).
I'll post their shipping time when it comes in. I hope it is soon as I want to change the drivetrain oils before I put her in winter storage.

UPS just dropped off a package for me. I was surprised, it only took 5 days for my Extreme PSI order to get here. All 5 quarts were there in a very well packed sturdy cardboard box.
Thanks to DSMtuner' members for the results of my "search" on what kind of fluids to use :thumb: and thanks to Extreme PSI :thumb:
Got a question. To drain and fill the transmission, transfer case, and rear differential does the car need to be level or can I just put her up in the front on ramps?

If you have a car quest near by they can order it.
