Nobody is hating on awd around here...I got one of each its all fun rwd is fun too..

the future cheap drag builds will be auto fwd dsm with a hx35-40 as the awd prices will be to high...gst are all over for cheap

Oo I would come to sac. But that's a drag strip... I cant launch on stock transmission its my DD with 145k miles on transmission, and I don't really care for drag racing but in march I could do a drag race. but what do you mean "our"? Your car in your time slip or a fully built drag car?

I said i dont drag race, I like the track, and its not my whole argument but I dont think a dsm could hit 7's with the fwd platform (and inside a eclipse) and because of times in all cars even for drag racing it usually is rwd as the fastest if your a full out drag car then awd then fwd but if I saw a 7 second FWD eclipse I would consider looking more into it, but even by your responses you can tell the fwd has major traction issues in most conditions and as you can tell in my picture i do offroading and I love the track, not the drag strip but tracks like infinion and thunder hill.

That's where you are wrong. Fwd cars have been 7s. Maybe not dsms. Just recently a non wheelied bar honda went high 7s. We already make that power in awds if not more. You go ahead and sit inside your boring pathetic cubicle while me and some others here in this thread pave the fwd way.

Don't forget kiggly is going low 8s on less power than it takes most the awds at the same level. He cuts 1.2 60' times.

Not hating on awds. I have one and the new setup is very quick. But it's a been there done that plateform. Time for change and to do something not everyone else is doin.

Care share your tire/wheel specs with BS/Offset? I know we approached the subject last year, but we never got around to exact BS

I'm looking at 15x10s and a 26" up front, and a 15x3 with a 27" tire out back for late next season or early 2015.

No 1G FWD owner can ever seem to put the wheel size, tire size AND the BS/Offset in the same post

I have a bent input shaft if you want the exact reason why I refuse to launch it until I have my new transmission which I will have in the spring, but a side point is that it is my only car that I don't share so I will not risk breaking it for a month and a half while I am saving money for the new transmission but honestly I said I would do it, and I will no need to further flaming I'll message you right when its on and we can set up a time and post the run on YouTube

See your just flaming... where did I even mention me porting or that having any effect on me beating you? The only "porting" I've ever done is the gaskets... which anyone could do... and I haven't seen a 7sec fwd honda without major frame work actually I haven't seen a fwd 7sec Honda but I will go look now.
