So I had the problem of my intercooler pipe hitting my dump pipe like dead center.
(Picture 1)
I just replaced my beaten up greddy intercooler with a vsrf one. I've had a STM dump for years..
Well now it was in the way.
(Picture 2)
So I grabbed some 304 SS from a muffler shop. Then a good friend helped me cut it on his chop saw ( use a band saw.. ) in 15° pie cuts. Then I spent like 4 hours deburring pie cuts ....
(Picture 3)
I bought some high temp metal tape awhile back( I knew I was gonna have to do this) and mocked up the pie cuts to redirect the o2 dump.
(Picture 4)
I was definitely scared cutting my STM dump because I'd never done that before haha.
But I was able to get a new route figure out. After some trial and error. Re taping and adjusting and figuring it out.
(Picture 5)
Brought it to a friend (RK Titanium) and he welded it up.
(Picture 6)
Its fits!
(Picture 7)
Then I scuffed and painted with 2000° paint cured it and wrapped it with DEI Titanium wrap.
(Picture 8)
The reason I chose the angle of exit from under the car is I've fabricated a BeatRush Evo undertray to fit and I dont want to modify it anymore.
