Whats a good clutch

I looked at the parts catalog and was wondering what was the best to buy. I live in Nova Scotia and the olny one i ccan get my hands on is a center force and that would cost $850 does that seem like a rip off.

Yea i just installed my 2600 this week. It was $409 total. I bought it from prostreet online, and i love it.

is that ACT2100 for the 2G a stage 2 clutch?? if not what is a good stage 2 clutch?

never heard it called a stage 2 before... is a agressive clutch for street and some draging.. the 2600 is for street but built to lastand grip harder than the 2100 in otherwords it's made more for drag raceing so most ppl go with it.. I went with a 2100 though becouse although im going to drag race like crazy it does not make the clutch so stiff.. (easier on your left leg) and i gota have it comfy and fast..

i got mine at SlowBoy for $331 and they had free shiping at the time.. think that deal is gone now though so u have to pay $5 for shiping but same price..

but if your not gona be raceing or hard no the clutch then i would recomend a Kevlar clutch forgot where i saw these at but there the best just for a nice smooth ride.. even better than the stocker..

I would say ACT 2600 for AWD, 2100 for FWD, thats all you need. I have the 2600 and I absolutely love it.

just wondering if anyone had an opinion on the Centerforce Dual Friction HD ballbearing clutch. I'm trying to decide between that and a ACT2100 or ACT2600 (just so i wouldn't have to upgrade later) I don't do much drag racing, and am pretty self controlled when it comes to launching (i only do it when absolutely nessacary, not just for fun) the vehicle is a daily driver and i don't want to end up with a left foot muscle thats 2 times bigger then my right. But i also don't want to break the clutch after one launch.....Any help?

Yeah, the ACT 2600 is freaking awesome. I have an automatic, but both of my friends have the ACT 2600 and they can drop that thing from high revs and not even phase it. It grabs hard too when they just dump the thing while going through the gears. My friend has an all stock Talon Tsi and this clutch really brought out the power of the car.
