Send me a PM or email instead of posting a thread here in these cases:

    • You want to complain about a policy or moderator decision
    • You want to complain about a supporting vendor, moderator, or wiseman member
    • You want to offer suggestions on either of the points above
    • You have a problem that, most likely, only I can solve or address

    Post a thread here if:

    • You have read the Site FAQ and scanned this forum first for a solution
    • You have a question on how to use the site or are having problems using the site.
    • You need help using a feature
    • You want to say thanks to the moderators or wisemen
    • You want to offer a suggestion for a new feature or section to improve the site
    • - You come across a bug

Think of it this way - you should only post a thread in this forum if there's a chance a member other than myself can answer your question or help with your issue. And you should be familiar with our site policies as well - for example, we state clearly in our rules that we don't allow public complaints about moderator decisions in our public forums, those are to be handled privately.

If a peer might have the answer or might be able to shed some light on a feature you dont' know about, it's appropriate to post a thread here. If your intention is to get a message across to me, the site owner, and I'm the only one who can answer your question or can do anything about your problem, then PM or email me directly.

Simply posting something that should be directed towards me privately in public for all to see tells me and others that you simply want to stir the pot and aren't serious about being part of any type of solution.
