I got a topic to speak about. Maybe I just need someone to vent to. Anyway I need a ICS (Idle Control Sensor) for a 95 GSX.
I bought a used 1G Throttle body with an ICS for $100. The ICS is bad on it so here I am looking for it again.
Let me tell you about my quest:
I went to Jacobs Mitsubishi In Rapid City, SD ICS is $257.00
Told them I would think about it. Called them back and now it is $330.00
Called Conicelli Mitsubishi in NJ and it is $192.77
The Local Honda/Dodge Dealer wants $257.00
Called San Refael Mitsubishi, CA Sponsor for this site and with a site discount they want $205.00
What the hell is the deal here? Are these things pumped out of the ground like gas or what? Why does it cost different between Mitsubishi dealers. I am getting so tired of getting the shaft from Satan I am even thinking about selling my car and getting a 1968 VW Bug. Better on gas and parts are pretty cheap.
Can anyone tell me if they know why these parts fluctuate so much from dealer to dealer and day to day?
