First off let me tell you what I have

97' Gst non conv. 5 speed
stock turbo
stock boost
full Greddy intercooler system including type-s blow-off valve
matrix muffler
injen intake system
Falken street tires

I've ran a 10.2 in the 1/8 mile with only a filter and muffler, but this is my first time down the 1/4

Let me know what I should be hitting.

Thanks

hey did you notice any gains from just a muffler? Cause I am on a ollege students budget and I was wondering if it would be wiorth it? thanks

I didnt notice any gains with my apex catback. The downpipe plus removing the cat is where the real power is at:thumb:

My guess is a 15.0@ 93mph:)

damn I was going to get all that but I just dont have to money. I guess Ill stick to a muffler for now(if I ever get it)
are you running a test pipe or high flow cat?

Well my best time was a 15.5 @ 90 m.p.h.

Is that a decent time with my mods? Kept running into wheel hop and bogging. I guess GS-T's are infamous for this. There were 3 othere GS-T's there with the same problem: all had wheel hop and/or bog. My best reaction time was a .012. I think that is pretty good for a 1st time at the track. If I would lower my tire pressure would it help me off the line?

Well I am FWD, i would say set tire pressure at 25 lbs. at track i launch at 3800rpms. I don't get a bit of spin. Its all just a science. I have UIP and BOV, and I run a consistent 14.6 in quarter. Just keep practicing its all about consistency.:)

no 15.5 isnt a good time. But its ok driving a gst is tough at first getting your launch down. keep practicing dont burn your clutch up and you should run at least 14.9-15.0.

Wouldn't that be a red light?

that's an understatement LOL!!!! I really can't tell ya what you'll run as I never ran with that setup.....I ran 14.77 completely stock, and 13.6 with everything I currently have.....well not exactly. My plugs were fried, and was only spooling @ 12 psi. ;)
