What is this part? When i watched the video of smithey's 600 hp car on the dyno, it was opened up.

Well considering it is right by your cams, I would say it's the Cam Angle Sensor.

The cam angle sensor controls your ignition timing, if I remember correctly.

it was just a CAS with a black lid. there are some with light green and dark green lids. they come from different years.

That post was uncalled for. He already acknowledged the that he was told what the sensor was. I told him that they came in different color lids even black. I think you need to find something better to do than post dumbass remarks when people on here are tryin to learn shit!

1. Adjusting, and controlling are two different things.

There should be a comma after the "oh" in your first sentence. as for grammar, please, read your posts and tell me where you abide by any rules of English. Glad to ruffle your feathers, flamer.
