What ever happened to DSM purity?

Some Body kits look ok. I don't think they're all terrible. It's hard to find a bodykit that looks good on a car like a dsm that already looks nice stock. It's also hard to keep a car clean with a bodykit cause lots of people go with fiberglass, and a fibeglass kit on a DD car, or even a car you don't drive a ton can lead to a disaster if you ever bump anything, anything bumps you, you drive on shitty rods, e.c.t. It's sometimes hard enough for people to keep their OEM bumpers and whatnot looking nice over time, so most people who opt for the fiberglass kits aren't usually doing themselves any favors.

Ban EVERY mofo with a shopping cart handle spoiler, and bomex on their cars! This board is function over form (IMHO) Body kits are for hondas...

Think of bodykits and neon like fashion. Back the everybody either had one or wanted one so they would be with the "in" crowd. Times and fads have changed over the years and will continue to change as our cars grow older. Who know maybe 5-10 years from now and they will start doing it again and call it "Retro" just like how bell bottoms and '70s clothes have started making a comeback. And as for the supra in f&f... even though it had a monster tach on the dash that car was still pretty sweet just like Hahn's veilside widebody rx7 in Tokyo drift!
