what do you guys think about this car?

93 tsi, awd/turbo/manual, mods upper intercooler pipe (no brand) new "bushings", k&n filter, front strut, some 16' wheels with 225 g force tires. 64k miles, the head/(possibly new head) has been rebuilt because the timing belt broke at 58k. 5 k worth of replacments of belts valves, gaskets and so on. replaced alternator, 15k on clutch, about the same on tires, new plugs and wires, the car is shiny read and looks incredible,no rust no dents except one in the rear right corner panal, black leather interior in great shape, comes with a sony head/10 disc cd changer. the alignment is a little off ("drifts a little to the right") but otherwise is in very very nice shape... do you guys know how much a painted quarter would cost and what about getting an alignment job? im going to check the compression before i buy the car, any other tips? the title is clean and the guy said that it was leaking a little oil but replaced some gaskets and what not and its not leaking anymore. how much would you pay? he is much above blue book value but none of the cars around here are near the kbb for nice low mileage car so..what you think?thanks guys...later......

With that much done to it, it's been driven hard- which can be okay, if it wasn't driven hard and _sloppy_. Personally I prefer "unmodified" cars for the most part, but all we can offer across the web is opinons....

$3,500 for a modded car. Most people don't realize that it sort of HURTS resale on a car that is modded. Offer that in CASH if you have it. Show him the money right to his face and I am almost positive he will take it.

its only worth 3500 cause of the LOW miles, otherwise..thats it..."NO 1G is Worth more than 4 Grand" I dont car if its John Shephards car.

Did you possibly find this car in autotrader for $7k??? Located in Va Beach/Hampton?? If so I've looked at the same car and he started the price out at 8k, then dropped it to 7500 and now 7k...just a FYI.
