weird electrical problem

A couple days ago I noticed when I started my car all my lights in the dash and guage lights were flickering. Is this a sign that the alternator is on its way out? When I mean flickering its like you are dimming and brightening the dash lights super fast. Any suggestions?

that sounds like my prob, take off the alternater and have it tested, u better have some cash those are not cheap. i paid 145.00 and it lasted about a week, remanufacTURD junk!

Bring your car to a local repair shop and they can test your alternator for like 5$ and if it needs a new alternator one can be had for about 100$ new. Well thats what I got mine for.
