Hi guys:
I did a search, and can't find how heavy the transfer case is ?
I'm dropping my tranny this weekend, and I was wondering if I can hold the transfer case by hands. Or is it too heavy that I need a tranny jack to support the transfer case, while it is being taken off
I have a tranny jack btw. I have read that a 1G AWD tranny is about 130 pounds, so I'll need the jack for the tranny.
Just for reference, I was able to support the rear diff by hand while a friend of mine bolt it on.. How much heavier or lighter is the transfer case ?
