I went to put a walbro 190 in my 1g and when I took out what I thought to be the stock fuel pump ended up being a walbro. Now my question is, the numbers on it said G.S.S. 278 and the numbers on my 190 say G.S.S. 250. I was wondering if anyone knew which version the G.S.S. 278 is? would it be the 255, 255hp or possibly a different one. Please let me know if you have any info on this. I have tried to search about it but could not find any other numbers than the usual W190, 255, 255hp

Thanks,

Well, I think the gss-278 is actually a 190lph fuel pump just for a different car. If you take a look here it lists all of the walbro fuel pumps with gss 278 in the part number. As you can see, they're all 190lph. If you can find out the rest of the part number, then you would be able to find out what car it was originally intended for.

The 250, and 250hp numbers can be found here if you're interested. Good luck.
