Just going to log everything here in 1 place for weights from a range of items/products and 2G specific parts of the car.

I hope to have a good catalog of items listed from wheels, tires, brakes etc etc to replacement parts and bodywork/trim. (Note that stuff cut off the car will vary) but a general idea of cut material is a good estimation of weight for everyone i hope.

All items will be per item and in LBS / Oz.

I got many items to weigh and shall update as i go along and can go back to parts easily doable


oem fwd shocks/springs front 11.5, rear 9.02,
Koni yellows and apex springs, front 11.7, rear 10.96,
BC BR coilovers with spherical upper mounts and BC own springs front 9.0, rear 9.0,

oem knuckles with bearings and studs 23.4,

previously made system 1.2mm walled stainless with muffler 15.4, Ive not reweighed my new rear exhaust section yet since the redo and loss of muffler,

This post just so happens to be about cam gears, no specific reason but i had 4 to choose from and i have weights for them.

the first set is skunk2 Pro camgears, these are both DSM and EVO compatable and the lightest cam gears we can get anywhere! 343 Grams which is 0 Lb 12.099 Oz! thats damn light! thats under 1lb per gear!

second is the original Skunk2 camgears, these are the redesigned versions as they used to have a different look when they first was released so i dont know that difference im afraid.
these weigh in at 433 Grams which is 0 Lbs 15.274 Oz, this is still light and also under 1Lb per gear.

next up is a real HKS cam gear, it comes in at 1 Lb 1.8 Oz

then we have a fake HKS cam gear and this is less then the genuine unit at 1 Lb 1 Oz!

Was given this AEM cam gear to show up. They are 445 grams which is 0 Lb 15.69 Oz.

Fidanza cam gear, They come in at 534 grams or 0 Lb 18.83 Oz.

Some window action.

I will add the oem front door glass in a day or two,

So poly windows here, they are normmally upto 50% lighter. These are 4mm thick and approved my FIA/MSA here in the UK so its what i went for. 5mm is for rally

The fronts have locking sliders in and these weigh in each at 5 lbs 2 Oz.
Oem glass front 11 lbs 4 Oz

The rear quarter oem glass i do not have currently as its on the car still (to follow)
The poly window though weighs in at 1 lb 8 Oz.

Next up will be the rear hatch window (also to follow)
