I have read the taboo vacuum line delete many times. I still have questions. I am deleting all emissions stuff. What is the minimum I need. Also, the factory fuel pressure solenoid, do i keep it? I will be running a AFPR. Do I keep both of the lines in the picture? Are there any points on the IM that need to be called off besides the throttle body ports?

You do not need to keep the fuel pressure solenoid on a 1G, but there are some who recommend it. Mine has been gone for 20 years and I haven’t noticed any downside.

Whatever you decide you want to do with the FP lines is fine. The car also still needs the line from intake manifold to BOV and from waste gate to cost controlling device to pressure source (j-pipe nipple on a stock car).

All PCV lines should remain as well. Past that, cap the throttle body ports and enjoy a cleaner engine bay.

On a 1G the only emissions stuff you have to keep is the O2 sensor and the PCV.

You need vacuum/pressure sources for the FPR, BOV, and Waste Gate. The WG usually from the J pipe (compressor outlet) the other two need manifold references from behind the butterfly.
You also need a vacuum for the brake booster which is provided by the check value in the hose between the two.

You can get away with venting the fuel tank purge but I like keeping the purge system connected.

100% it helps with cold starts when set to run with factory settings. When I didn't have it hooked up, I had to blip the throttle a few times to keep it running.

I personally didn't notice any difference with or without the FPS during hot starts. Ever since I disabled 'enable hot start enrichment' in ECMLink, I no longer have hot start issues.

Sometime cause is hard to correlate with effect without a big picture. I'm glad it helped.

"enable hot start enrichment" is something different.

It's easy to miss this reference and many haven't ever read the 1G DTM but it's called out here. The FPR Solenoid is called the Fuel Pressure Control Valve in some of the manuals. There are other documents that explain that it's the possibility of vapor lock it's trying to address but I don't have time to dig those out.

Another question, I also deleted the ABS. Should I just tape the ABS connectors together and stuff them as far out of the way as possible? They are both a fairly decent size. I mounted the dual catch can setup in the space the ABS unit was.
