posting pics is a real hassle for me, I can't find anyone to host my pics!
Ok i'll try to describe it, you've got the tubes which the air pressurized by the turbo pass through, then you've got the fins that are inbetween the tubes (they bend really easily). I know this is a weird question, and im not retarded i installed everything on my car myself and it works great!

are you talkin about the cooling fins that is on the intercooler itself? Do you mean these?

oh yea the tubes the air from the turbo passes thru is called an ic pipe. I dont know of any fins that are in ic pipes either?

I'm talking about strictly the intercooler. pressurized air passes through the endtanks and through the tubes inside the ic.

Its the /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ part that i am curious about
the _____________________ part is where the pressurised air passes through inside the ic, does this make sence?

the \/\/\/\/\/\\/\ IS what is acualy doing the cooling - ( just like a radiator ) they disperse heat.

Yep those little aluminum fins is whatis circled in that picture. They are long and go through the whole intercooler. the air passes by them and the heat like sticks to them in a way, and the outside air hits the intercooer cooling them.
