Aight, so Idaho's out. Im down with whatever. What about the gateway? (hopefully all my ideas aren't ###). That would be sweet to drive in the middle of that and have a photoshoot there.

I am so down to do this. My girlfriend might even bring her 96 N/A Talon along with my 98 GSX. So is this just going down at the mall or whatever in Layton? Anyone have an address or anything so that i can get a map off yahoo or something before hand? I've only been to SLC once.

Apparently the address is different for each store within Layton Hills Mall, so here's the address for Macy's in the Eastern section:

We can cruise down to the Gateway if everyone's down for a drive. I don't think the Po-Po's would give us too much of a hard time [had a bad experience at the Gateway with another local club get-together].

Depending on how many cars are coming, and if anyone likes mountain pics, we can take a cruise to Farmington Canyon, and get some snaps on the asphalt portion of the road up there.

So we'll finalize it being the 7th of April, then. I'm also assuming everyone's down for karting, so I'll talk with the Speed Street staff and see if it's possible to get a group discount for all-day races [even though $40 for all-day is still a bargain].

Would we be down for a barbecue, or chilling at Denny's, or what? There's a large park about a mile West of the Mall we could stop at, get some eats and hit up some Frisbee or something, and then head out to wherever.

I'm open to all your inputs, anything will help make this a kickass meet. Thanks for your interest guys, especially the CO folk [Chris, you can come too]!

Nice to see you UTAH guys getting together. I wish our local NASA group didn't cancel the MMP event this coming year or I'd invite you all out and meet up with you there. I'll be up there in 2008 for sure.

Maybe some of you would be willing to make the trip out to Hastings Nebraska? We'll have an event out there this year August 25-26. I know that's quite a trek, but it will be for me too. It'd be nice to see some of you out at the track!

Probably going to start around 3-4pm, if that's alright with the long-distance guys. I see most everyone's within 5 hours of Layton, so I think 3-4 might be better than anything earlier.

I think 3 might be a little late. It will only be april so we will be approaching it getting dark and probably not so warm. I say move it up to 12-1 thats just my opinion. Ill be there either way though.

I am also down with canyon trips and photoshoots. (hopefully I will have the 2gb talon wing on her by then) However, I have heard of Gateway mall officers giving trouble to other large meets such as this one. Plus that place is going to be packed on a saturday afternoon in the spring. We won't be able to get any clean shots there.

noon sounds good to me. i got me(98 GSX), my g/f(96 ESi), and a friend(92 ESi) all coming with one passenger each. Noon sounds pretty good, i'm about 5 to 5.5 hours away but i think we could get there if we leave CO around 7 but depending on traffic we may not be there till 1 but hopefully we'll be there before everyone heads out to go do whatever. Anyways, that's the three cars coming with me so far, and i've also left a bulletin on the myspace dsm homepage.


P.S.-A couple of my friends have NICE NICE show quality cars. One's a 2003(i think) celica and the other is a newer model cougar, anyone mind if they come with? I have their myspace addresses that have pics of the cars if you need them.

Yeah bro I would plan on it happening. On this site or UTDSM it says its still on so get it off. If your buddies wanna come I say thats cool to the more the better. If you do come give someone your number so we can keep in touch while you guys drive down so we dont leave you guys or anything.

Well i kinda thought this would happen and it did. I now have yet another dsm coming with me as long as he can get the weekend off. He drives a 97 GS Spyder. So if he goes i got my 98GSX, my g/fs 96ESi, my friends 92ESi, and the 97GS Spyder. Look forward to meeting you all and see you guys in a couple weeks.
