Car:
98 Eclipse Spyder Gs-T
5 Speed
Act 2600 Clutch with ACT flywheel

Summary:
I let my friend take the car back to my house.
It is about 1-2 miles away.
When I tried driving my car after this incident, I sensed there was something wrong.
I had to press a little harder on the clutch to put into gear. It was very hard.
But it drove fine, but I noticed it was a little harder to put it into gear.
Eventually I could not put it into gear.
The next day, I stepped on the clutch and it went down without no pressure.
It ended up staying down.

Situation:
I need to get it fixed before I go home for Thanksgiving if it is possible(in college).
Do you guys know what the problem is?
I don't want to go to a shop and have them bs me and charge me nonsense.

Jose, my roommate, is willing to pay for it, but I'm trying to look out for him by getting him a deal.

Thank You

I am betting that if you look in your clutch fluid resivoir, the fluid will be gone.

Refill the fluid, bleed the clutch, and find the leak.

My oney is on either the clutch fork / assembly. A visual inspection should tell you if its broken:

Its located on the front side of the transmission. Trace your cluch line to the slave cylinder and check to see if the fork bent.

Also, you may want to check out this VFAQ: http://www.plymouthlaser.com/slave2.htm

Slave or master cylinder. Look up underneath by the pedals, and under the car up front at the tranny. If there's any leaking fluid, replace the cylinders. For the slave (under the car) peel back the rubber boot and check for fluid. For the master (by pedals) just look for fluid leaking on either side of the firewall.
