Like most, my car dies at idle or low RPM with the BOV uncirculated. Found this video posted years ago by some random guy, but he has comments turned off so not sure if it's true or not, but would this keep the car from dying at idle? Kinda hard to see because his cam is crappy. But only 5min long.

Yeah don't listen to that jack ass LOL. You do not want to adjust that screw only because you are running a uncirculated BOV. Get a blow through setup either GM maf or speed density tune the car and do it correctly.

The car came with the IAT and MAP sensors already installed, just not wired up, and I got a wideband on it also. Just no DSMLink yet, so trying to save up to get it.

So the guy is recommending you mess with the BISS screw to try and fix the stalling from a non-recirculated BOV. :ohdamn:

Here are a few threads that talk about this topic:

There is no sure fire way to prevent the car from not running good if you don't recirculate the BOV on a car running a MAF system (not converted to run speed density). You're letting metered air out of the system, the system doesn't know it. With that said, the stalling may also be due to leaks in the intercooler system, throttle body, or somewhere else in the system. If you switch to a "speed density" set up it changes the way air is metered in the system, which will allow you to not have to recirculated the BOV. Just doe some keyword searches on "bov venting" "recirculated bov" "speed density" etc. Tons of info on this all over the forum. It's been a pretty popular topic for 20 years here, and pretty much everything that was said way back then still applies.

You'll also want to read up on "idle surge" and "idle issues" to learn how to address idle problems and stalling. You'll learn about certain sensors that fail and how important doing a pressure test is on these cars. And why the BISS screw shouldn't be used to try and make up for a non-recirculated BOV on a car with a MAF.

The car came with the IAT and MAP sensors already installed, just not wired up, and I got a wideband on it also. Just no DSMLink yet, so trying to save up to get it.
So your car is running speed density or is it still set up on MAF? If it's set up on speed density it shouldn't be an issue, assuming the settings are all good and there are no pressure leaks in the system.

No, it's not running SD, he installed the IAT and the MAP sensors, he just never wired them up. It's still running the MAF.
