Tweeter and 6.5” speaker component setup in the rear.

Anyone try placing a tweeter and a 6.5” speaker component setup in place of the rear factory speakers?

The reason I am thinking of doing this is because it seems a lot of people have trouble placing aftermarket full-range 6x9s in the rear. Also, a component 6.5” puts out more power than a full-range 6.5”.

I have the 6.5 inch mid base with 1" tweeter right above it, fits very nice..once installed you can bearly even notice them through the grille.

How did you mount it? Did you have to make a custom bracket? What about the depth clearance?

there is plenty of depth..as i said everything is hidden under the stock grille.
