WhooHoo! I just picked up Futurama season 1 & Family Guy season 1 & 2. These rock! The commertaries on the Futurama discs are much better than The Simpsons discs. I haven't watched any off the Family Guy discs yet. Anyways, highly reccomended.
So what is everyone's thoughts on TV box sets? I love them. When I was at Wal-mart buying these I noticed several more;
Malcolm In The Middle season 1
Dawson's Creek season 1
All In The Family season 1
Buffy seasons 1, 2, & 3
X-Files up to season 6 I think
& many more...

I have in my collection soo far;
Futurama season 1
Family Guy season 1 & 2
The Simpsons season 1 & 2

Shit yeah. I have the Simpsons Season I. Cash flow has restricted me from buying season 2 and the Futurama and Family Guy DVD sets. But those shows ROCK. I could sit and watch The Family Guy all night long. Great stuff. I should be picking them up soon, hopefully. :thumb:

Family Guy was the most funny show ever created for TV, EVER! Then FOX in all it's wisdom cancelled it. But now we have Chappelle's Show, so it's all good

why did family guy get canceled?

it was almost better then old simpsons, and way better then the new ones

I wish there was a Titus box set, I'd be interested in that...nothin like seeing Stacy Keech as an alcoholic, smartass, verbally abusive old man :thumb:

Only for the first two seasons when Titus was gold. Man, that show went down the drain.:p
Also, you forgetting to do something? Ahem...count something...

I have the Family Guy set, every episode is great. I also have insomniac with Dave Attel, pretty good disc. I'm just wondering when the hell they are going to come out with a Newsradio set and a Seinfeld set........

Chapelle's show is pretty good, but Family Guy was by far my favorite show, EVER. They had no safe spots. Everyone was a target. The humor was fast and aimed at Gen-X-ers (is that a word?). Note all the 80's shows and commercial references. And it was just damed funny. I never laughed as hard as when I saw the Kool Aid man bust through the wall of a court house on SuperBowl Sunday four years ago..

Matt.

LOL..one of the funniest scenes on the one family guy show was when peter got laid off and his wife was going "oh no,oh no,oh no" and the kool-aide guy busts through the wall and was like "ohhhhh yeahh" and then he slowly backs up and ran away..ROFL..man i loved that show but well always have southpark..there not going anywhere for awhile..oh and chapels show is funnier than shit too..you gotta love a black man who isnt afraid to say the word nLgger..but he does go too far sometimes..
