Hey Everybody,

I was just wondering if anybody had this short shifter? One of my friends gave me his for free, because he said, he didn’t really like the feel of it and it moved netural a little to the left almost between first and second gear. Also on a stock-clutched (for now) 91 gsx would the shifter make a large improvement in shifting? I am also thinking about the the samborski shift kit to to mate with this shifter and info would be great ,thanks a lot. Below is a picture of the shifter:

Yeah i know i am going to atleast get the symboski shift kit, however from what i understand the shifter from turbotrix is th eobx and people say that is sucks and can actually overextened you shift forks and break them,so i dont know if i will still put it in does anybody know if the short shifter from turbotrix is the obx,or maybe he same design? Thanks

I have that shifter in my car. I had to make some custom nylon shims from nylon washers at Home Depot Racing. After you get all the slop out of it, it shifts pretty well. I'd probably buy it again.
