Hey, just got a 96 talon tsi and noticed a bit of intermittent blue smoke, nothing really major, I took it in and we did a compression test and it was good (rebuilt last year). Under further inspection we found trace oil in the turbo intake pipe. The mechanic said this was probobly my turbo seals leaking because of the lack of a turbo timer, (the car has one, but who know if it was used properly by the previous owner). He said it would be best to replace the whole turbo, witch I was planning on upgrading anyway. Does this mean upgraded injectors as well?? AlSO the car seems to be pushing oil out of the fill cap, is this caused by the seals as well. Id be grateful for any insight. Thanks in advance fellas.
