First off let me start by saying, i have been out the game for some time now, but its time to finish my project. I have a punishment racing manifold t4 undivided. what im asking is ; anybody who has the manifold or knowledge of it what is the largest turbo that can be run without having clearance issues that require extensive fabrication ( radiator isnt much of an issue ) what i want is a gt42. anybody have experience with fitment of the 42 on punishment racing manifold? (i've searched and personally didnt find anything relevant)
i am aware that there are alternate manifold choices but i allready have this one so i want to use it. if a 42r wont fit what other choices are there? like the next step down. i.e how does a pte 6262 compare?

thanks in advance

a gt45r will not hit the water pipe or the engine mount? im sure it will those are verrry large. im not concerned about the housing flange, im concerned about clearance and what not.

Yea they are quite huge, deffinatly would have issues. But personally I've never seen a GT42 bolted on a bottom mount manifold on a DSM. Why do you want a 42?

im looking for a turbo that i will not have to replace again for a very long time, since im getting a few thousand back from income tax. its been proven as a very powerful track turbo looking for a turbo that can hit 800 horsepower and not be blowing hot air pushing all its got. i can always add more fuel or a better ignition system later. my car is mainly a track car so the streetability loss isnt an issue for me.

plus who doesnt love a big ass gt42 on a dsm? =P

Not a specific turbo replacement, but I would go for a journal bearing turbo for longevity reasons, if you want to never have to replace it. Good luck though man.
