i have blades in pairs of two, 6 of them

looks like a 16g vairent. you will have to measure the compressor blade inducer and exducers to find out exactly which 16G it is, (ie. big, small, evo3) or you can log the airflow and compare that to other evo3 16g users with similar mods to give you a good idea if you have the same turbo.

pictures of the blades of the turbo would help i think.

right after sending this you had posted them LOL

It's either a Big 16G or an 18G. The Small 16G and Evo III wheels look nothing like that compressor does.

I honestly think it's an 18G compressor but the only way to know for sure is to measure the inducer with the cover off. Visually, however, the Big 16G looks smaller to me.

Inducer will either be 1.89" or 1.98". It's definitely one of the two- I'm not good enough to visually tell .090", but being that the wheel phyically looks larger than a Big 16G as well as the missing numbers on the cover, I'm putting my money on 18G.

Regardless, it's not an Evo III 16G....and that's a 6cm turbine housing for sure.

( im a subaru tech)
I'm sorry. :p

where is the proper place to make the inducer measurement? at the base circle i suppose? i will also make the turbine housing measurement for conformation.

tradergreg's kit should still work on that turbo because it is for all tdo5h .. super back or flat back regardless ??

The inlet wall isn't as thick though, which tells me it was machined.

I'm all-in on 18G....but I've been wrong before. Maybe it is really a Small 16G wheel in a machined 14B cover which is throwing me off, but I swear it's bigger.

here are the pictures from disassembly. i believe Justin was correct in 18g ... thoughts just on the compressor blades + housing, they look a little rough to me.

im sure hed return it in much better shape but im on a budget at this point, if its good to run, its getting new inerds and its gonna get put to use. i did notice that the inside diameter of the compressor snout did not measure 6cm, smaller infact. idk what part that would play in making those grooves?

i dont know what your budget is but justins rebuilds are not only of great quality (so i hear) but are also very reasonably prices from what i have seen. i havent had to rebuild yet, but i did buy a turbo from him, a brand new HX40, which im hoping justin will never have to see again LOL.

ill run out back and measure the Inside Diameter of the housing, it is 50.94mm (6cm)

im not sure what jus could do if i sent him the turbo with these parts below, its the only repair parts i can find.

Turbo Compressor Housing TD05H + Wheel 18G DSM 1G EVO 3 | eBay

im getting pricey here, 160+ in parts/shipping + labor and return shipping
