Recently I noticed white smoke and a foul smell from my exhaust after accelerating enough to use the turbo. From what I have read this means my turbo is done...??? I figure this is the case since I just 31+ mpg on my last tank of exclusively highway driving. I do not currently have an overabundance of funds, so I wondered if it will hurt my engine to nurse it for a while until I can afford a new turbo? The engine runs fine until it tries to build boost. It still does have alot of boost in first gear, but that's abou it.
