Hello,
This is an article on how to install those pesky inner bushing e clips on a turbo center section.
Pic 1 shows the housing, OLD bushings and a 10mm 1/4 drive deep socket.
Stand the housing on top of the two bushings as a spacer. Drop in the socket so that the hex end is down and 1/4 drive is up.
Pic 2 Now simply drop the e-clip in and use the socket as a back spacer to lock the clip into the inner groove.
Pic 3 Flip the housing over, no need to space this way. Now take a pin or screwdriver or dental pic and stick it into the oil feed holes on the OLD bushing.
Pic 4 Guide the bushing into the oil drain port and lift up into the center hole. Again this will create a backing for the clip.
Pic 5 While holding the backer bushing in place drop the e-clip in and push it down until it locks into the groove.
Pull the backer bushing out and continue assembly.
Hope this was helpful, I found I did not even need clip pliers to install and took a short amount of time.
