I was catching up with an old friend who got a DSM not too long ago and I rode around in his car and it was popping and banging, etc etc. I asked him why in the world it was doing that and he told me he tuned it to do that with link. He disabled the idle switch while moving so it would essentially disable fuel cut. And he retarded his timing -5* in low load values. Do you guys think this is harmful? I've heard of kids doing this in their BRZ's etc. but never a DSM
