Tuning 420a?

Will the ECU+ Tuning Kit work on a 420a 99 RS cause I'm getting a Star stage 2 turbo kit and want to be able to fine tune it without buying an expensive EMS.

If it won't work why and how can I fine tune this 420a?

Basically I can't find anything but engine management looking for suggestions other than that.

Also its an automatic please help me out I'm on my knees and i don't want to use a AFC. thanx peace

In theory, the ECU+ works like a S-AFC--just tap into the appropriate signals to the ECU so that you can log/modify them. However, the ECU+ was created with the 4G63 turbo engine in mind, so I can't say for certain whether it will work with any other engine.

Your best bet is to simply email Tom Collins. He is the man behind the curtain and will definitely be able to tell you what you can/cannot do.

The main problem I forsee is that, as far as I know, the 420A is a speed density engine...

thanks any pointers on how i can tune this engine in good also i might just spend the extra money and get the greddy e-manage system also 2 more questions if i get bottom end and upgrade injectors fine tune with e-manage how much whp sould i be expecting and 1/4 mile time estimate cause i dont want to spend all this money and be sad that it does not perform like i want thanx later

We definately can't give you any indication of power if you don't tell us the specifics of the setup.
